Arnel Pineda

Arnel Pineda, a Filipino singer/songwriter, came to prominence in the Philippines in the 1890s. He was also the new lead vocalist for the American rock band Journey in 2007. Arnel 54 has reached the age of 2021. He was born Arnel Campaner Pinda on September 5, 1967, in Tondo (Malaysian). The day he celebrates his birthday is the 5th of September every year. Arnel was encouraged by his mother to sing while he was still young. His parents entered him in several singing contests. Arnel's mother passed away due to heart disease at 13. Following the death of his mother his family was left in debt. His father was behind by six months in his rent and was consequently unable to earn a living for his family. Therefore, his father enlisted his family members to assist Arnel. Arnel is the youngest of three brothers, Roderick Pineda and Joselito. Arnel was aware of the situation and decided to stop school to ease the burden of his father. Arnel lived for more than two decades on the streets, sleeping whenever he could. He was a collector of newspapers and glass bottles and sold the bottles to recyclers. Arnel was also employed in odd jobs, such as docking ships, and cleaning scrap metal. Arnel is married to Cherry Pineda. The couple tied the knot in the year 2001. Together, they have been blessed with two children one daughter (Thea Chenelle Pineda) and one son (Cherub). Arnel has two other children: Matthew and Angelo.
